Session Description
Early Career Researchers (ECRs) are the foundation of the future scientific community, yet they often face significant challenges in terms of visibility, funding access, job security, and networking opportunities. This session aims to provide a platform for sharing and discussing concrete actions, innovative programs, and successful strategies developed by institutions, networks, projects, and individuals to support ECRs across disciplines. We welcome contributions that present, for example, mentoring programs, training initiatives orskill-development workshopsThe session seeks to foster discussion on best practices, identify needs and gaps, and inspire new models of support within the scientific ecosystem. Abstracts from ECRs themselves, as well as from coordinators and institutions working to support them, are warmly encouraged. Let’s shape together a research culture where emerging scientists are empowered to thrive. This session is proposed by the ICDP ECR steering committee.
