Application Open
Researchers, students, and early-career scholars are invited to apply for financial support to attend the XXII INQUA Congress 2027 in Lucknow, India (January 28 – February 3, 2027).
This financial assistance helps participants from developing countries, early-career researchers, and students cover travel, accommodation, and registration costs. Authors and convenors presenting abstracts or leading scientific sessions are especially encouraged to apply, as funding priority may be given to those contributing to the congress's scientific program.

Shaping the Scientific Agenda for INQUA 2027
Session Proposals
Sessions should focus on current and emerging themes in Quaternary science, aligned with INQUA Commissions. Proposals that address societal challenges—such as paleoclimate, environmental change, geohazards, geo-resources, human impact, gender, and ECR-related issues—are strongly encouraged.

Workshop Proposals
Workshop and training courses (4–8 hours) aim to build capacity among students, Early Career Researchers, and domain specialists. Proposals may include hands-on training, technical demonstrations, analytical methods, or thematic skill development aligned with Quaternary research.

Abstract Submission
Researchers are invited to submit abstracts contributing to the scientific themes of the XXII INQUA Congress. Accepted abstracts will be scheduled as either oral or poster presentations within designated sessions.
Abstracts should reflect original research in:
Geohazards
Climate Archives
Sediments, Humans, and Heritage
Anthropocene
Chronology and Techniques
Professional issues and outreach
Synthesis-Data and Modelling
Each abstract will undergo review by the Scientific Committee.The abstract submission must not exceed 300 words.
