Session Description
Panel session for early career scientists and researchers that focuses on diverse career opportunities available to master’s graduates and PhDs beyond the traditional academic path. The panel will consist of 5-6 researchers working in a variety of sectors (academia, government, non-profit/NGO, private industry, etc.) and will be guided by pre-selected questions. Invited panelists will share insights on their experiences within and beyond academia, highlighting pathways in industry, the public sector, and non-profit organizations. The discussion will address a variety of scientific work at different geographic locations, funding opportunities, unique challenges, and career options. The discussion will also explore current opportunities and difficulties faced by Postgraduates and Early Career Researchers in the evolving job market.
